1. The service

Program name: CallCaught.

Program description: CallCaught is an automated missed-call text-back service operated on behalf of participating local businesses. When a caller dials a participating business and the call is not answered, CallCaught sends the caller a single automated SMS text message on behalf of that business, letting them know their call was received and inviting them to reply. Any reply is relayed to the business so it can respond. CallCaught does not send marketing, promotional, or recurring messages.

2. Consent, call to action, and message frequency

Call to action / opt-in: The sole way to receive a message from CallCaught is to place a phone call to a participating business's phone number. By placing a phone call to a participating business's phone number, you consent to receive an automated text message in direct response to that call. This call-to-action is disclosed on this page and on the CallCaught website (callcaught.co) in the section titled "For callers — how the text-back works." Participating businesses may also disclose it on their own websites and voicemail greetings.

Message frequency is low — typically one message per missed call, plus any conversational replies you choose to engage in. You will not receive messages unrelated to a call you placed.

3. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. CallCaught is not responsible for charges applied by your carrier.

4. Opt-out and help

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text STOP in reply to any message to opt out. After you send STOP, you will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to you through CallCaught on behalf of that business unless you opt back in.

6. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages depends on the recipient's carrier network and device and is not guaranteed.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal information, including phone numbers and message content, is described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Acceptable use

The service may not be used to send unlawful, deceptive, or harassing content, or for any purpose that violates applicable telecommunications regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA messaging guidelines.

9. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update the service or these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
